"Our aim is to cause a surprise in the capital on Monday evening"

Our team's away match against Vasas FC kicks off at 20.00 p.m. on Monday at the Illovszky Rudolf Stadium.

“Our last week was a little busier than usual, as we also played in the cup on Wednesday. As I said earlier, we are happy to have advanced, but we were not satisfied with our performance. However, every fan knows how difficult it is for even a first division team to advance against a third division side in the cup, so I think that, apart from the game itself, we can be proud of reaching the last 16 of the competition. Our victory against Szeged a week ago in the league was important for the club, the team, and the fans, and thanks to that, we can look forward to the match against Vasas with greater confidence. I think that in terms of tactics, mentality, playing ability and professional preparation, we are facing the team at the top of the second division, Nevertheless, we want to cause an upset, and I believe we can compete with the strongest teams in the league and play better than we did in the first half of the season. We are aware of our poor away record and definitely want to improve on that. The entire league is extremely balanced, but there is no question that our aim on Monday evening will be to cause an upset in the capital," head coach Gábor Boér told our website ahead of Monday's away game, which starts at 8 p.m.
