"I can only be happy that we advanced"

"At the moment, I can only be happy that we advanced, because we played poorly and with the wrong attitude. We knew it would be difficult against a lower-division team, as several NB I teams have already been eliminated from the cup, but it's not the result that bothers me, it's the way we played. Some of our players had been given fewer opportunities over a long time, and now they had a chance to prove themselves, but unfortunately, I don't feel that they were able to take advantage of it. We need more than that in a Videoton shirt. It was a game with many interruptions and fouls, so it was not enjoyable to watch. The home team tried to disrupt the game, and we were their partners in this.

Balázs Varga:

"I am proud of my players' performance; we were able to compete with Videoton from NB II. At the same time, I am disappointed, as we had four clear cut scoring chances, three of which were against the goalkeeper, and we missed one when the score was still 0-0, so we had a chance to take the lead. We were well prepared for our opponents, who didn't really have any clear efforts, but they managed to win and advance with a well-placed long-range shot, for which I congratulate them and wish them every success in the next round."
