Gergely Bobál signs for Vidi!

Bobál Gergely 1995. augusztus 31-én született Pásztón. A Salgótarjánban töltött évek után 2007-ben a Vasashoz igazolt, majd 2010-től a Budapest Honvédban folytatta pályafutását. 2012 májusában, mindössze 16 évesen bemutatkozott az élvonalban.

Gergely Bobál was born on 31st August 1995 in Pásztó. After spending several years in Salgótarján, he signed for Vasas in 2007, then continued his career at Budapest Honvéd from 2010. In May 2012, at the age of just 16, he made his debut in the top division.

In the 2016/2017 season, he was a member of the NB I champions Budapest Honvéd, then played for Csákvár and Zalaegerszeg. In the 2019/2020 season, he finished third in the NB I goalscoring charts with 10 goals for ZTE FC. He was then signed by Portuguese top-division side CD Nacional, before joining Vasas for the 2021/2022 season, winning the NB II title at the end of the season and securing promotion to the NB1.

He then played for Mezőkövesd, before spending the last two seasons in NB II: he returned to Honvéd in 2023/2024 and spent the 2024/2025 season with our partner team, Ajka. In those two years, he scored 8 goals in 45 league games.

He was a member of the Hungarian national team that competed in the 2014 U19 European Championship and played for all age groups from U16 to U21.

After signing his contract, he told our website that one of his most important goals for the coming season is for the team to win back the respect of the fans with their play, as united, by fighting together, we can achieve great things.
