Dániel Tiefenbach was born on 10 August 1999 in Austria. The 25-year-old midfielder's father, Tamás Tiefenbach, played football in Újpest in the early 1990s, before moving abroad to play in Switzerland and Austria.

Dániel Tiefenbach has only played for Austrian teams in his professional career so far. He came up through the youth ranks at Altach and Hohenems in Austria and St. Gallen in Switzerland. He then spent nearly ten years with Austria Lustenau. He mostly played in the second division with his club, but also made 40 appearances in the Austrian top division as a Lustenau player.

Last summer, he signed for SW Bregenz, where he scored three goals in 26 league games in the second division and also provided one assist. He joined Vidi in the summer of 2025.
