"We want to ride the wave of momentum after a mentally significant win."

Vidi will kick off at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday at Karcagi SC's home ground. The red and blues will be looking to make it two wins on the bounce.

"Last weekend's league win meant a lot to everyone mentally. We were really looking forward to our first success, and I think the team worked hard for it. We weren't completely satisfied with our performance, but the fighting spirit that is necessary for success in NB II is getting better and better, so we've made progress in that regard. Unfortunately, injuries made our work this week more difficult. We would have been happy not to have to change our starting lineup, but there will probably be some players who won't be fit for Sunday. We wanted to ensure consistency, but because of this, we have to reorganize the team a little. We want to capitalize on the fact that we are coming off a mentally significant victory, and we are traveling to Karcag for points. It won't be easy for us now either, as our opponent is a newly promoted team that has started the season with momentum and success. They have achieved remarkable results, such as a draw in Szeged and a victory against Vasas, and they have managed to collect points against teams that are likely to be promoted, which is a great achievement. However, we are preparing ourselves in such a way that last week's victory will only have real value if we are successful now. We are prepared for our opponents, but I think that the will to fight and the mental aspect will be very important in determining the outcome of the match," said head coach Gábor Boér to our website before the league match against Karcagi SC.
