Milán Papp returns to Vidi

Milán Papp was born on 20th December 2001 in Szeged. He started playing football in his hometown, but moved to Felcsút at a very young age, where he played for the age-group teams of the Puskás Academy and then made his debut in the NB III team. He spent half of the 2020/2021 season with the NB II team Csákvár and the other half with the second division team Szeged.

He became a Vidi player for the first time in the following season, when he was a key player in our second team, then managed by Tamás Szalai. Milán transferred from us to NB II side ETO FC Győr the following season, which came as no surprise, as the green and whites were then managed by Krisztián Tímár and Tamás Szalai, who were well aware of the talented defender, who had established himself as a regular in NB II.

He also spent the 2023/2024 season in NB II, but this time playing for Kazincbarcika. Last season, he signed for first division Kecskemét with high hopes, but a series of injuries prevented him from making his debut in the top division, and he was loaned to NB II side Gyirmót for the spring season, where he also played against us in the MOL Hungarian Cup.

Milan Papp will be playing for our team on loan during the 2025/2026 season. We wish him every success in red and blue!
