Botond Kemenes was born on 11th November 2001 in Budapest. After attending the Hungarian Academy, he moved to Germany in the summer of 2018 to join FC Hansa Rostock academy.
In September 2020, he returned to Hungary and signed for Mezőkövesd.
In the summer of 2021, he returned to III. Kerület TVE, where he spent two seasons. In the 2023/2024 season, he signed with Veszprém, where he played 10 times in the NB III North-West group and also appeared in 3 MOL Hungarian Cup matches.
In the autumn season of the 2024/2025 season, he was the first-choice goalkeeper for VSC 2015 Veszprém, who finished third in the NB III North-West group, playing 15 league matches and two cup matches.
