We have terminated our contract with the head coach who had been managing our team since June 2025 by mutual agreement.
Today, Vidi terminated the contract with head coach Gábor Boér and assistant coach Zsolt Makra by mutual agreement. The 42-year-old coach took over the reins of rebuilding the new team in the summer, sitting on the bench for 14 competitive matches. In the league, the team achieved three wins, four draws, and five losses in 12 matches, and there were also two wins in the MOL Hungarian Cup. Based on the results and performance of the past few weeks, our club's management has decided that our team needs new impetus in order to continue to be successful.
"I would like to thank the club's management and most of the staff for their cooperation and helpful, positive attitude. It was an honor for me to work for such a prestigious club with such a long history. I am sorry that the team was unable to achieve the kind of results it is capable of. I wish the team continued success and hope that the club will return to its rightful place on the Hungarian football map. I would also like to thank RBD for their NB I-level support and encouragement throughout!" - commented Gábor Boér after leaving the club.
We would like to thank Gábor Boér and Zsolt Makra for their work for the club and wish them every success in their future coaching careers!
